Ashima AiNeon 6 Bolt Rotor
Description
Ashima's AiNeon disc brake is the World's Lightest Floating Rotor.
It features a two-piece construction. The first comes from the world's lightest 1-pc rotor, the renowned Ai2. Utilizing the same SUS410, disc brake specific stainless steel alloy, hardened to HRC47. Each individual rotor's annulus is precision ground on each side to ensure perfect parallelism.
The second part of the construction is an aerospace grade, Al7075-T6 heat treated alloy carrier which not only reduces weight but is mainly used by Ashima to manage heat dissipation through the high thermal conduction of the alloy carrier, producing better brake performance.
While the AiNeon is a floating rotor, the carrier and rivets are machined to be flushwith the rest of the rotor to prevent the clearance issues some other two-piece rotors rub up against.
